About Nathan

I am a passionate well experience personal trainer and coach. I have worked with many people over my past ten years in the fitness industry. Working with people in all variations of goals and situations: athletes, coaches, medical conditions, injuries, weightloss, muscle gain, health and fitness. I have a few specialist areas where I specify and have advance key skills. My Back ground in sport and fitness gives me a vast understanding of the human body and how we can work with.

My coaching apporch can be seen as advance, concidering biomechanics, anatomy and physiology. Whilst bring character and charisma to training sessions.

- REP level 3 Qualified Personal Trainer. 

- Advance Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy and Exercise Rehabilitation 

- Level 1 Crossfit Trainer

- Crossfit Level 1 and Crossfit Advance Level 2 gymnastics coaching certificate. 

- Rock tape and corrective taping expert.

- CrossFit Weightlifting Trainer 

- NASM Exercise Correction

- Level 3 award in teaching and education  

- Personal Training Tutor 

- Fitness Assessor 

- CPD qualifications include, kettlebells, suspention, circuits, advance nutrition stratagies, gym based             boxing, studio cycling.

 

I also have key first hand experience in the following three area's. 

 

            CrossFit

 

The sport and training method of crossfit. Crossfit's aim is to increase your work capacity or broad time and modal domains. Increasing all levels in the 10 domains for fitness. 

I have been training in crossfit for over 3 years now and competing for the last 2. 

 

As a Crossfit athlete competing in team and individual events I have the understanding of taking your body to the limit. Having the understanding of the work it takes to be as fit as you can be. 

 

High intensity is the key to this training and is rewarding for anyone who wants it. 

I have competed as a team in competition also competing high individual competitions. 

            Weightlifting  

 

Coming from a long sporting back ground weightlifting, powerlifting and strength training has always been a part of my programming to increase strength and power for Rugby. 

 

Weightlifting can help the best of athlete's develop their sports and skills further. I can also be an alternative fun way of training your daily split routines. 

 

Training the aspects and movements of Snatch, Clean and Jerks will improve speed, co-ordination, strength and power.

            Gymnastics 

 

I have always performed gymnastics training in conjunction with any of my other training methods. 

 

It helps me build a strong core and muscle strength with density. 

 

Crossfitter, weightlifter, bodybuilder or health enthusiast. Who ever you may be, gymnastic training will help you achieve your goals quicker faster and move effectively. 

 

I used to compete in gymnastics at high school level. I currently use a lot of gymnastics in crossfit. Also working a lot of calisthenics work to vary and keep me enjoying my training.
